Ulu Tembeling

I was posted to Jerantut District from 1979 till 1987 During that period, I had made at least 3 working trips to Ulu Tembeling. Each trip covered up to Kpg. Mat Daling and Kpg Gusai.

We usually leave Kuala Tembeling Jetty with a 40hp long boat as early as 9:00am, and would only reach Kpg. Bantal around 6:00pm. As for lunch, we cooked in the boat. When food was ready, we stopped over a sandy beach for a quick bite.

Stopping over National Park in Kuala Tahan had become a norm for every visit to Ulu Tembeling. I hiked up Bkt. Teresek.

Yet another one. I was warned, "Be careful, don't lean at the rock."

I went up there again in year 2006. Took a picture at the same spot.
